The contract between us
All old blinds,curtains and poles must be removed from all areas being fitted with new products.All areas must be clear and free from objects and furniture to allow safe fitting of new products.no is parked claims or compensation will be accepted for breakages due to objects not being removed from fitting areas.
All care will be taken when drilling for attachments for blinds and poles etc,should in the unlikely event of plasterwork cracking or tiles due to prior damage or poor performance of structural areas no liability will occur.
Payment must be paid either before or on installation of your product.
Missed installation appointments will incur an additional fee of £25
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been paid for and delivered to you.once goods have been delivered or installed they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for loss or destruction.
Your right to cancel made to measure items
Under the consumer contracts regulations 2013,where the goods are made to measure you have no right to cancel your order,return the goods or seek any refund.
Cancellations are only possible if the production process has not begun.
A cancellation fee of 20% will apply if the production process has not begun and can be stopped.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the order between you and us if:
a) we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered if we will not be receiving further stock of your product.
b)We are unable to deliver to your area.
c)goods you have ordered was priced at an incorrect price due to typographical error or an error in pricing by us.we are under no obligation to provide goods deemed to us to be incorrect.
If we do cancel your order we will notify you and will process a refund as soon as possible.We will not be obliged to offer you any compensation for any disappointment suffered.
Placing an order
You will receive a copy of your order either paper copy,or email,it is your responsibility to check your order immediately and inform us of any amendments required.please be aware the manufacturing process can often begin within 1 hour of the order being placed.
Price
We reserve the right to increase/decrease prices as we see fit due to offers or flash sales.should you have placed an order and the price of the same goods has since been decreased,you are not entitled to a partial refund.
Returns (non made to measure)
Should you ever want to return an item based on the item not being faulty,the cost and liability would remain with you,wallpaper if stocked must be still available in store to have a refund ,mixed paint can not be returned unless faulty,a credit note may be offered rather than a cash refund.
Warranty
All or products are covered by at least a 12 month guarantee,some products have an extended 5 year guarantee
Warranty covers all components.
Fading of fabric is covered by the 1 year guarantee but not the 5 year guarantee
A labour charge maybe applicable not included in any replacement product.
Delivery and installation delays by request
Should for any reason your product or installation of your order needs to be postponed for any length of time,we can store it until delivery or installation is arranged.Please note that products stored at your request could affect your 1 year warranty due to any unseen defects/damages of unopened packaging.We reserve the right to charge for any additional costs due to delayed installation to cover any unforeseen rises in staffing costs,sundries and fuel increases.
We will honour any agreement up to 6 months from original order.
Faulty goods
In the unlikely event that any of the items on your order are received with a fault or develop a fault within the period of the guarantee we reserve the right to repair the said item.this may involve issuing you some parts and very simple instructions to rectify the problem.should the fault be un repairable and the problem be under guarantee.To speed up delivery of any replacements from us to you we may ask for photographic evidence of faults.
Specification of goods
Whilst we endeavour to provide accurate fabric and product samples,colours and shading of your item can appear slightly different to the sample in our books,samples can be ordered before confirming colours.We are not liable for any issue relating to differences in colours should you choose not to use the sample service.
Measuring & Tolerance levels
All our products are made with a tolerance of +/-
5mm for blinds and curtains.
Should an item be within these tolerances you will not be entitled to reject the good on this basis.
Telephone orders
We have a dedicated and knowledgeable team who are happy to process orders over the phone.
You are wholly responsible for giving us accurate measurements,we are happy to offer advice.All measurements must be given in centimetres and not inches,we have no liability should you give us measurements in any other format.
Call outs to fix or service blinds
A £25 pound call out fee applies to any product that the customer has eg.activated a safety device or pulled out a chain due to misuse or any other issue.
Parts and any other issues may incur additional costs.
Events beyond our control
We have no liability to you for any delay to deliver or install goods you have ordered or any delay or any damage or defects to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control without limitations,strikes,industrial events,breakdowns of systems,floods,accidents,worldwide shipping delays or extreme weather.
Third party rights
A person who is not party to the original order has no right under the UK contract (Rights of third parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of the original order but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available apart from the Act.
Entire agreement
These terms and conditions together with our current website,contact,delivery and privacy policy,set out in the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of goods to you by us.Nothing said by any salesperson or by any other member of our staff should be understood as a variation of our terms and conditions except written agreement by that salesperson.We shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.by placing an order with us you will be deemed to have agreed that you have not placed any reliance on anything said by a salesperson or other member of our staff unless in writing of any amendment to your order.
